As the day was nice and sunny yesterday, we decided to go to Stratford! I love the town, even though it was packed with tourists. The day was perfect for a stroll on the river side, sunny, but not too hot. What a nice day it was...

Late

I will do last weeks five cos this weeks boring.

1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country?

Outside England I went to Brasil in March for 3 weeks. In here been to Liverpool, London... and hm Warwick if that counts!!

2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling?

When I went to Cancun, while snorkelling in beautiful Cozumel, someone, I have no idea who, groped my butt underwater. Later I found out the "groper" had been busy groping all girls from my tour! What a weirdo low life. Harmless, as it coud have been a shark or those eletric eels.

3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go?

I think I'd go to the Fiji Islands. But then again, if money is no problem, I'd go everywhere!!

4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car?

Any. I think all are enjoyable. Planes are a bit boring, but gets you places faster.

5. What's the next place on your list to visit?

Well, Brussells is high up on my list, but I'd also like to go back to Paris, and of course I am dying to go to Italy and Spain.

Bank Holiday

Is today! And guess what? It's been rainy and overcast the whole day! I don't know why it's holiday today. Seems like some of them are not to celebrate anything, it's just a day off. Go figure.

Ah, as I was talking about the Pirates of the Caribbean, I was at their website and found out that The Haunted Mansion will be released in November in the US!

And guess what? The haunted mansion is also a ride at Disney!!!! One of the best I might add, and it's been a while I have been there! I wanna see it!!! I think I wanna go to Disney again!!!

You come from the Ocean. You've always been drawn
to the sea, the sound of the waves, the crystal

If you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for? This is definitely the best movie this summer!

Johnny Depp is great as Captain Jack Sparrow, and Orlando Bloom demystifies his "legolas" face. I always liked Johnny Depp, but as a pirate his is great!!

This is based on the old "Pirates of the Caribbean", for those of you who have visited Disney World, there is a ride there called Pirates of the Caribbean, and you see many scenes from there on the actual movie! I loved it, both the ride and the new movie.

There goes the synopsis for you:

From producer Jerry Bruckheimer comes the thrilling live-action adventure "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," starring Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, and Orlando Bloom, directed by Gore Verbinski. For the roguish yet charming Captain Jack Sparrow (JOHNNY DEPP), the crystalline waters of the Caribbean, like the high seas the world over, present a vast playground where adventure and mystery abound. But Jack's idyllic life capsizes after his nemesis, the wily Captain Barbossa (GEOFFREY RUSH), steals his ship, the Black Pearl, and later attacks the town of Port Royal, kidnapping the Governor's (JONATHAN PRYCE) beautiful daughter, Elizabeth Swann (KEIRA KNIGHTLEY). Elizabeth's childhood friend, Will Turner (ORLANDO BLOOM), joins forces with Jack to commandeer the fastest ship in the British fleet, the HMS Interceptor, in a gallant attempt to rescue her and recapture the Black Pearl. The duo and their crew are pursued by Elizabeth's betrothed, the debonair, ambitious Commodore Norrington (JACK DAVENPORT), aboard the HMS Dauntless. Unbeknownst to Will, there is a curse that has doomed Barbossa and his crew to live forever as the undeadhen exposed to moonlight, they are transformed into living skeletons. The curse they carry can be broken only if a once-plundered treasure is restored. Stunning visual effects bring these formidable foes to life as our valiant heroes clash mightily with Barbossa and his invincible pirates of the Caribbean.

Now, go see it!

3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)?

MSN and ICQ, none usually on... lol

4. Where was your first webpage located?

Geocities, and man was it lame... lol.

5. How long have you had your current website?

Just over a year, but it feels like 100 years.

Boiling Hot

Man, it's hot here! Do I have to remind you how I dislike hot weather? No? Ok. It's been like 30?C for the past 2 weeks, and I tell you it's not a bit nice. I am just so glad that the office has this powerful air-con that even when it's mad hot outside we have to wear cardigans inside... hahaha.... I loath the time I have to leave because the heat just hits my whole my body when I step outside! It's like leaving the fridge and being put inside the oven!!!!!

Yesterday all I wanted to do was to live inside my freezer.

Today it rained in the morning, heavy showers with thunders and all. Now it's hot and muggy. Lovely. I am all sticky. I wish I could spend my day under the cold shower.

The rain stopped and now the sun is shinning again. So unlike England! I tought at least today would be a rainy day to compensate for the past weeks. NO, my mistake, as an atypical summer, its HOT and SUNNY!

Oh, it's Father's Day in Brazil! Dad, I love you. Missing you loads. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Ok now I will try and cool down with loads of ice cubes. Don't think naughty things huh!

Frustation

Does it frustrate you when you go out to buy something for you and cannot find anything, not even a HAT you like? Well, I am a tired and frustrate woman on my PMS. You do not want to be anywhere near me today.

I went to find me some trousers (yes, I use the word trousers now) in the morning. At about 11:00 I was very upset and all sweaty because of the heat. I went to ALL stores, ranging from Beatties to Bon Marche, and I wasn't amused with what I'd seen. Grim, old grandmas stuff, I could not imagine myself into any of those clothes. It's either I am on an existential crisis, not knowing how to dress anymore, or the fashion has fallen into a deep abyss.

It's not that I am being picky (well I am picky) but I didn't even want to try that stuff on me, scared I might like it when on my body, sending sub-liminar messages into my overloaded brain! I was very mad.

All because I need some trousers. It's not that I have many clothes to wear at work, and I am in need of some. I had the money, the time, but no store got my precious £ today.

I hate when that happens. When you need something the most, you can never find anything suitable.

Oh gosh and hot it was this afternoon!! I had some pizza delivered today for lunch/dinner, and I ate as I watched Real Madrid playing Hong Kong. I hate to admit Beckham has his appeal... LOL! Not that his hairdo is doing anything for him at this moment, but I can spare him for now.

Ok, updates done.

Tara.

Just another day

It's nice today, much cooler than the rest of the week! It's not too bright or sunny, looks rather foggy. I am up since 7, and I won't even work today! Yey! Day off for me!

I am in need of this extra day off, just to stay at home and do nothing!

We are so busy at work, so many teaaaaaachers we have to answer to, and they won't stop calling. Funny they say that England is in need of teachers... Just this year, there should be over 30,000 looking for a job!!!!! Ah, I don't want to talk about work anyways because it should be what it is only spoken and done at the office. Outside I am a free bird!

Ok, I will write more later, I think I am going to town to do some shopping. YEY!
